As a Guru you will be accountable for:
- Support the Risk function, championing and embedding a risk-aware culture across PropertyGuru.
- Continuously assess and enhance risk management strategies, policies and processes, to drive efficiency and effectiveness in risk mitigation efforts.
- Update and maintain the risk register, identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks to protect PropertyGuru’s interests.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and business units to coordinate and implement risk mitigation and control measures
- Guide and support the business units to address risk concerns and enhance risk management practices across the organisation, fostering proactive risk management strategies
- Oversee the external vendor who provides internal audit services, setting the program of annual work, and reporting findings, learnings, and action plans.
- Prepare and present reports to the Senior Management Team and Audit Finance & Risk Committee on risk situation, activities, and mitigation plans.
- Oversee business continuity management and incident response activities to minimise exposure and protect PropertyGuru against potential loss, and where applicable, conduct investigations into incidents.
- Collaborate with the Legal team to monitor regulatory changes and work with cross-functional teams to comply with relevant laws, regulations and guidelines.
- Develop training programs to educate employees on risk management topics.
We're looking for someone who:
- Has experience in risk management roles, with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and risk assessment methodologies
- Demonstrates excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address risk issues and controls, effectively.
- Possesses a thorough understanding of risk management practices, internal controls and audit processes .
- Shows experience in developing and delivering risk training and promoting a culture of compliance.
